Germans call
it "Gemütlichkeit." And it describes an
atmosphere of good fellowship. Fred taught German for
several years and has traveled extensively in Austria,
Germany and Switzerland. Now he brings that special
feeling to you with traditional German folk music and the
"musical literature" of Heine and Goethe.
You'll join arms around the table and sing the songs with
him - even if you don't speak the language. You'll steam
down the Rhine, climb a mountain and travel the
countryside like a gypsy. . . all through the medium of
music. Sharon joins with the Alpine bells and in a lovely
duet with Fred singing"Heidenröslein"
It's a "trip" to central Europe without leaving
home. . . with "Fritz" in his Lodenjacke as
your guide. Program
Length: 70 minutes
